The most commonly used inhalers are:

  • Ventolin Evohaler (as an Evohaler)
  • Fluticasone Propionate Inhaler (as an Inhaler)
  • Salbutamol Inhaler (as an Inhaler)

In the UK, asthma inhalers are available in all countries and in the United Kingdom.

The asthma inhaler Ventolin Evohaler is a combination of two other inhalers:

The Ventolin Inhaler is a blue inhaler that contains fluticasone propionate (as a propionate), a synthetic steroid which is known for its quick onset of action. It works by preventing the action of the hormone corticosteroids (prednisolone) in the body.

The Ventolin Inhaler is also available as a press-activated device and is marketed as:

  • Ventolin Evohaler
  • Salbutamol Inhaler
  • Fluticasone Propionate Inhaler

The Ventolin Inhaler is a blue inhaler that contains both Ventolin and salbutamol in different ways. The Ventolin Inhaler comprises a propellant, which means it gets out of the way of air in the lungs. This means it can be inhaled quickly, which makes it effective against asthma symptoms.

The Ventolin Inhaler is a brand name for the inhaled drug salbutamol. The Ventolin Inhaler is a brand name for the inhaled drug fluticasone propionate (as a propionate).

Ventolin HFA – Injection Delay Solution

Ventolin HFA (salbutamol) is a bronchodilator that is prescribed to reduce symptoms of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory diseases. Ventolin HFA is a short-acting beta-2-agonist (SABA), which is the same as the Saphris HFA used to treat asthma.

    Product Details

Ventolin HFA contains a combination of salbutamol and a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways. This action helps to relax the airways and prevent breathing difficulty. It works by delivering an HFA inhaler (the same as a Saphris HFA inhaler) to the lungs. This action increases the amount of medication that can be inhaled by the patient. It will help reduce symptoms of asthma and other respiratory diseases.

Each HFA inhaler contains the same number of particles, each having a different size and shape, that are used to create the spray, which is used as a propellant. Each HFA inhaler contains one of the following active ingredients:

    • Salbutamol HFA
    • Aromasin HFA
    • Aromasin Sulfate HFA
    • Chlorpheniramine HFA

Ventolin HFA is available as a single shot, once-a-day inhaler and as a three-piece inhaler. It should be used for at least four weeks and should not be used more than twice a day. Inhaler is given once every four hours. It is important to follow the instructions of the doctor, as they will need to monitor you for symptoms and health related side effects while you are using Ventolin HFA.

The use of Ventolin HFA is only for the treatment of asthma and not for prevention of asthma or allergic reaction. Ventolin HFA should not be used to treat any other respiratory disease as it may cause more side effects than what is caused by this medication.

Ventolin HFA should be used with caution in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components. Do not use this product in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of this medicine. If you have been told by your doctor that you have a hypersensitivity reaction to any of the ingredients of this medicine, stop using the product immediately and call your doctor.

    Side Effects

Ventolin HFA has a similar side effect profile to the Saphris HFA (Salbutamol Inhalers).

The most common side effects experienced with the two HFA formulations are the feeling of tightness in the chest or discomfort when breathing through the inhaler. These symptoms usually subside once the medication is discontinued.

    Common side effects include:

    • Dizziness
    • Flatulence
    • Muscle cramps

    Less common side effects include:

    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Diarrhea
    • Increased heart rate

    More serious side effects include:

    • Severe dizziness
    • Severe and rapid breathing difficulties
    • Seizures

Ventolin HFA is not recommended for use in children under 14 years of age. It is not recommended for use in patients who are taking medications that could increase the risk of birth defects or other side effects in children.

    Precautions

Before using Ventolin HFA, it is important to inform your doctor if you have an allergy to salbutamol or any of its ingredients.

Some of the signs of allergic reactions to the components of this medicine are:

    • Allergic rhinitis
    • Wheezing
    • Chest pain

If you experience chest pain or swelling, you should see your doctor immediately. If you have difficulty breathing, or you notice any changes in the heartbeat of the heart, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Pregnancy or breastfeeding: It is not known if this medicine is safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

    Storage

Store Ventolin HFA at room temperature between 15-25 degrees Celsius.

The Ventolin Inhaler is designed to provide quick relief of bronchospasm (excess secretions in the airways) in patients suffering from asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

The Inhaler is manufactured by AstraZeneca which makes the Inhaler device convenient to use and reliable. The Inhaler can deliver the Ventolin spray, which is a convenient and easy-to-use solution to effectively relieve the symptoms of asthma and COPD.

In order to avoid the need for a corticosteroid for up to 8 hours, the Inhaler should not be used more than twice a day. In addition, the Inhaler should not be used on the face, lips, forehead, or ears, especially for patients who have facial skin problems or other breathing problems.

It is recommended that you follow your doctor’s instructions when using the Inhaler, and this can help prevent side effects and ensure that the medication is effective for you.

The Inhaler should not be used in children, or if you have a deformed or missing face. If you are worried, do not use the Inhaler without consulting your doctor.

The Inhaler should not be used in patients with a history of asthma or a history of allergy attacks, as this can lead to serious health problems. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop using the Inhaler and call your doctor immediately.

In addition, in patients with a history of asthma, it is important to avoid the use of other inhalers. If you have a long history of asthma or an allergy to sulfas, you should not use the Inhaler.

The Inhaler should not be used by people who are hypersensitive to salbutamol, salbutamol sulfate, salbutamol or salbutamol sulfas, as this can lead to a serious allergic reaction.

Please refer to the Patient Information Leaflet for more specific information about using the Inhaler.

For more details about using the Inhaler, please read the information leaflet provided with your medication.

Salbutamol Inhaler is a medicine used in the treatment of bronchospasm (excess secretions in the airways) in patients suffering from asthma and COPD. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and widening them. This helps to relieve symptoms of asthma and COPD. The Inhaler is for inhalation only and does not relieve the symptoms of bronchospasm.

Ventolin Inhaler is a blue, compact and easy-to-use inhaler. It contains the following ingredients:
    • Salbutamol (Benetide)
    • Salicylates
    • Diclofenac sodium
    • Ibuprofen
    • Lidocaine
Ventolin Inhaler is a salbutamol inhaler. It works by reducing the amount of salbutamol in the body. This can help to improve symptoms of bronchospasm.

If you are taking any of these medications, make sure you read the instructions on the product packaging and ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
